Material In, Material Out
Half of excavation is moving material, and a good share of the work we do is simply that: bringing the right rock to a property, or taking away what is no longer wanted. You do not need to be having other work done to order a load.
What We Deliver
- ✓Road base for driveways and roads
- ✓Gravel in the sizes that actually suit the job
- ✓Screened topsoil for finish grading and lawn prep
- ✓Fill dirt and structural fill
- ✓Rock and boulders for rock work and landscaping
What We Haul Away
- ✓Construction and demolition debris, see demolition and debris removal
- ✓Slash and woody material from clearing and fire mitigation work
- ✓Spoil and excess material from excavation
- ✓General property cleanup
Pricing by the Load
Hauling gets priced by what is in the truck and how far it has to go, so it is one of the more straightforward numbers we give. Tell us the material, the quantity and where it is going, and we will price it over the phone rather than needing a site visit.
How Much Do You Actually Need?
The most common problem is people ordering by feel and either running short, which means a second delivery charge, or badly over-ordering and paying to have a pile of rock sitting in the yard. If you can give us the length, the width and roughly what depth you are after, we will work out the volume with you before anything gets loaded.

Common Questions
How much gravel do I need for my driveway?
It depends on the length, width and the depth of material the ground needs, and depth is the part people underestimate. Give us the dimensions and we will do the volume with you before you order, so you are not paying for a second trip or for rock you did not need.
Do you deliver if I am doing the work myself?
Yes. Delivery is a standalone service and plenty of it goes to people doing their own project.
What is the difference between road base and gravel?
Road base is a graded mix with fines in it that compacts and locks together, which is what you want under a driving surface. Loose gravel without fines stays loose and moves under traffic. Using the wrong one is a common and expensive mistake on driveways.
How far will you deliver?
Across Routt County and into Grand County. Distance is part of the price, so the further out you are the more it costs, but ask and we will give you the number.
